The Monster of Mountains

This is a demo for a combat system of a 2D side-scrolling action game. 

The gameplay is centered around boss battles. Players’ combat decisions and strategies are enriched by complex derivative combat actions and a combat resource management system with high risk-reward disparities.

 This creates a battle experience that has a slow, clear rhythm, a strong sense of layers in the combat actions, and large reward feedback. 

Players will use this combat system to fight against large-scale bosses, making action decisions during the battle by observing the states of the characters and the enemy, and manage combat resources efficiently to gain rewards.
